Policemen yesterday seized more than P380,000 worth of suspected shabu from four drug suspects, who were separately arrested in Negros Occidental.
The buy-bust operation at Purok Cagaykay in Brgy. 2, Bacolod City, yesterday led to the recovery of 50 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P340,000, and P500 in marked money.
Nabbed during the buy-bust operation conducted by Police Station operatives was Ferlene Joy Molate, alias Joy, while Louie Sombilla managed to escape, PLt. Liberty Indiape, deputy spokesperson of the Bacolod City Police Office.
Another buy-bust operation at Kalye Onse in Brgy. 2, Silay City, yesterday led to the arrest also of another drug suspect identified by the police as Little Hanaya.
His arrest also yielded about six grams of suspected shabu, worth P40,800 and P3,000 in marked money, police said.
On December 14, two other persons identified as Jade Perez and Ruth Anne Cordero were also apprehended by the police in another buy-bust operation at Sitio San Ramon, Barangay Manalad, Ilog.
An estimated 0.5 gram of suspected shabu with a market value of P3,400, assorted shabu paraphernalia and P500 in marked money were also recovered by the police during the buy-bust operation.*
