Police have recovered more than P400,000 worth of suspected shabu from three arrested drug suspects in separate buy bust operations in Negros Occidental, on April 14.
Operatives of the Drug Enforcement Unit have arrested Garry Estonilo, 30, during a buy bust operation in Purok Ylac, Brgy. 1, Bacolod City.
The apprehension of Estonilo, alias Ar-Ar, yielded 36 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P244,800, marked money of P1,000, and P150 in cash.
Police also seized an estimated 20 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P136,000, during the arrest of a drug suspect identified as Nicakandro Arroyo at Maravilla St. in Brgy. 3 poblacion in EB Magalona.
The police also confiscated a .38 caliber pistol-type revolver with three ammunition and P500 in marked money.
Another buy bust operation at Purok 1 in Brgy Gomez, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, also led to the apprehension of a drug suspect identified by the police as Jony Sanogal.
The arrest of Sanogal, a 56-year-old laborer, led to the confiscation of about three grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P24,000, two cellular phones, P500 in marked money, and P250 in cash, a report from the Pontevedra Police Station said.*
