Combined operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Bacolod Police Station 2 arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation at about 11 a.m. Friday in Brgy. 1, Bacolod, and seized P408,000 worth of suspected shabu from him.
P/Lt. Liberty Indiape, BCPO spokesperson, identified the suspect as Jobel Anacan of Ylac, Brgy. 1.
Anacan’s companion, Edlyn Liboon, who was the subject of the buy-bust operation, managed to evade arrest, Indiape added. Six sachets of suspected shabu, weighing 60 grams, and P300 in buy-bust money were recovered from Anacan, who will be charged for illegal possession of prohibited drugs, while Liboon will face charges for illegal drug sale.*
