A buy bust operation on Sunday at Sitio Balibag in Barangay Lopez Jaena, Sagay City, led to the confiscation of P435,200 worth of suspected shabu, as reported by the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.
The seizure of the suspected shabu, estimated at 64 grams, resulted in the arrest of two drug suspects identified as alias Junjun, a 42-year-old electrician, and alias Tata, 48-year-old woman, both residents of Carmela Valley in Talisay City.
Another buy bust operation at Purok Tahong in Barangay Zone 3, Talisay City, led to the arrest of a barangay tanod identified by the police only as alias Maymay, 45-years-old.
His apprehension also yielded an estimated two grams of suspected shabu valued at P13,600 and marked money of P500.
The three arrested drug suspects, who are locked up in jail, are facing charges for violation of RA 9165,also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.*
