Policemen seized P483,000 worth of suspected shabu from three drug suspects who were separately arrested on November 28 and 29 in cities of San Carlos and Silay, all in Negros Occidental.
The buy-bust operation at Centermall in Brgy. Palampas, San Carlos City, on November 28 led to the arrest of a drug suspect identified by the police as Junry Guitguit, 39.
The apprehension of Guitguit, being classified by the police as a Street Level Individual drug personality, yielded 70 grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P476,000, and its assorted paraphernalia, P246 in cash and P4,5000 in buy bust money.
Two other drug suspects identified by the police as Victor Ravales and Stanley Silva were also apprehended yesterday by the police at Brgy. Mambulac in Silay City, also for violation of RA 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
The police also recovered one gram of suspected shabu, worth P7,000, and assorted drug paraphernalia during the arrest of the two suspects.*
