Bacolod City police seized an estimated P680,000 worth of suspected shabu during an early morning buy-bust operation yesterday, in Barangay Sum-ag.
The City Drug Enforcement Unit recovered approximately 100 grams of the illegal substance during the sting, which targeted high-value and street-level distribution within the area.
The operation resulted in the arrest of two suspects identified as 31-year-old alias ‘Em-em,’ and 41-year-old alias ‘Polite,’ both residents of the area.
The suspects are currently in police custody and face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
In a statement, the Bacolod Police said it remains steadfast in its intensified anti-illegal drug campaign and continuous efforts to eradicate illegal drugs in the community in line with the directives of the Philippine National Police.*
