Policemen seized on Friday suspected shabu valued at P782,000, from a drug suspect arrested during a buy bust operation at Purok Mapalaron in Barangay 30, Bacolod City.
The anti-drug operation, led by PLt. Co. Antonio Benitez, the Drug Enforcement Unit chief of the Bacolod City Police Office, led to the arrest of alias Joseph, a resident of Iloilo City.
Seized were about 115 grams of suspected shabu.
The BCPO also reported the confiscation of 315.6 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P2,146,000, from 14 drug suspects who were arrested in Bacolod City, during the period from June 9 to 15 this year.
In Victorias City, Negros Occidental, two other drug suspects were locked up in jail after their recent arrest by the police.
The arrest of alias Otep and alias Lito at the Relocation Site in Barangay 21, Victorias City, led to the confiscation of about 18 grams of suspected shabu valued at P122,400.*
