Operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office seized P80,000 worth of suspected shabu Monday and Tuesday in Bacolod.
P/Lt. Liberty Indiape, BCPO spokesperson, said Mae Torres, 45, of Purok Santo Rosario in Brgy. Bata, was arrested in her house after she handed a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer for P500 at about 7 p.m. Monday.
Indiape said the policemen recovered 11 sachets of suspected shabu, weighing about 10 grams and valued at P68,000, from Torres during her arrest.
Meanwhile, Station 4 policemen arrested Jonel Yanson, 37, of Purok Cabacawan in Brgy. Villamonte at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday after he allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer. Station 4 commander, P/Major Jun Ray Batadlan, said his men also recovered five sachets of suspected shabu, worth P12,000, and weighing 1.8 grams from Yanson.*
