An estimated P816,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized by the police from two arrested drug suspects, who are siblings, on Sunday, December 1, at Purok Neptune in Barangay Singcang Airport, Bacolod City.
Both arrested suspects, who are residents of the place, were categorized by the police as high value individual drug personalities.
Operatives of the PNP Drug Enforcement Group recovered about 120 grams of suspected shabu worth P816,000, P500 in marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency also seized about 50 grams of suspected shabu, worth P340,000 from a drug suspect arrested at Purok Katagalugan, in Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The arrested suspect was identified by PDEA as Joebert Estimada, 31, from Urban Phase 1, Brgy. Rizal, San Carlos City, and is now facing charges under Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
