A high-value individual was arrested by the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) early Wednesday morning, during a buy bust operation that led to the seizure of P884,000 worth of suspected shabu.
The operation, conducted by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) at approximately 6:05 a.m. in Purok Kabuhi, Barangay 10, resulted in the apprehension of a man identified as alias ‘Richard’, a resident of the barangay.
He was found in possession of approximately 130 grams of suspected shabu.
The arrested suspect is now facing charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The BCPO urged the public to cooperate and report any suspicious drug-related activities in their communities.*
