Separate buy bust operations on September 4 in the cities of Silay and Bago in Negros Occidental, led to the seizure of P95,200 worth of suspected shabu from two arrested drugs suspects, according to police.
Nabbed during a buy bust operation at Purok Esmeralda in Brgy. Poblacion, Bago City, was Randy Aguilar, alias Randy Alvarez, a 52-year-old laborer of the place.
His apprehension yielded about six grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P40,800, marked money of P500 and P139, and a cellular phone.
A similar buy bust operation at Antonio Luna in Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental, resulted in the arrest of another drug suspect identified by the police as Audie Aguilar.
The apprehension of Aguilar, 57, also led to the recovery of P2,000 in marked money and an estimated eight grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P54, 400, among other items, police further said.
Both suspects are currently locked up in jail.*
