A father and his son were both electrocuted on November 9 at Purok 6 in Barangay Nabali-an, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
Both victims, Salvador Inayan III, and his 55-year-old father, were reported by the police to be both declared dead on arrival at the Himamaylan District Hospital.
According to police investigations, the father of Inayan, whose identity was withheld by the Himamaylan police, was responding to reports that his son had been electrocuted.
While rushing to help his son, the elder Inayan accidentally touched a live wire that resulted in his electrocution, according to the police.
The younger Inayan had accidentally touched a live electrical wire, while carrying a container of water.
On the other hand, a resort employee was found dead at the Bago River in Brgy. Pandanon Silos, Murcia, also on Saturday.
The 52-year-old victim, whose identity was withheld by the police, left his workplace at the East 32 Resort at about 10 a.m. of Saturday, as he was not feeling well, based on the testimony of her sister, initial investigations of the Murcia police said.
Several hours later, the lifeless body of the victim was found by a resident of the barangay at the Bago River.
The Murcia police raised the possibility that the victim had drowned.*
