
The City of Bacolod received an Excellence Award from Pag-IBIG Fund for its support of the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Housing Program, reaffirming its commitment to expanding homeownership opportunities, a press release from Bacolod PIO said.
The award was given yesterday during the Pag-IBIG Fund’s Chairman’s Report 2024 at The Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City.
Bacolod Housing Authority Department Head Victoria Parreñas accepted the award on behalf of the city, alongside representatives from Schierman Group, the city’s partner in implementing housing projects under the 4PH program.
Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez welcomed the recognition, emphasizing the city’s continued efforts to provide affordable and sustainable housing for its residents.
The 4PH Program, a national initiative, addresses the country’s housing needs by making homeownership more accessible. Bacolod remains a key partner in this effort, working to create more housing opportunities for Bacolodnons.*
