The Paglaum Sports Complex has been officially declared safe for the upcoming arena dance competitions of the MassKara Festival, following an inspection of the Bacolod City Engineer’s Office (CEO), last Tuesday.

“In preparation for the celebration, so far, there is no reported damages and there are sort of dilapidated portions but not critical as there are no occupants there,” Ceballos said.

The joint inspection was carried out together with the Department of Public Works and Highways Bacolod City District Engineering Office, in coordination with the provincial engineering office, the Bacolod Gugma Foundation Inc., and various stakeholders.

The complex is set to host the MassKara arena dance competition of Schools category later at 1 p.m. and on Sunday for Barangay category.

The arena dance competition at the Paglaum Sports Complex will precede the main street dance event and the announcement of winners, which will take place at the Bacolod Public Plaza.*
