Preparations are now underway for the 2025 Panaad sa Negros Festival, which is slated for March 24 to 30 this year.
Its opening also coincides with the start of the campaign period for local candidates, running for positions such as regional, provincial, city, and municipal offices, and for the House of Representatives, begins March 28.
Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson yesterday admitted that they invited some candidates running for national positions, during the week long activities.
Charina Magallanes Tan was designated by Gov. Lacson as the Panaad Executive Director for the 29th Panaad sa Negros Festival, which is traditionally held at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City.
The Panaad sa Negros showcases the festivals, history, cultural heritage, commerce, industry, and tourism potential of all the cities and municipalities of Negros Occidental, including highly urbanized Bacolod City.*
