Papal Nuncio to the Philippines Charles John Brown D.D. led the 3rd Ceremonial Christmas Tree-Lighting and Thanksgiving Celebration of Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod on Thursday.
He was joined by Bacolod Councilor Em Ang, who represented Mayor Albee Benitez, SM Hotels and Convention Corp. Executive Vice President Peggy Angeles, SM Bacolod manager Julia Javellana, Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod general manager Sherwin Lucas, and “Santa Claus” during the ceremonial switch on event and the lighting of another Christmas tree during the opening of Santa’s Workshop near the Arima Restaurant to commence the countdown to Christmas.
The guests were entertained by a performance of Santa’s elves (the Yuri Crew), the marching band of the Domingo Lacson National High School Drum and Bugle Corps, and children’s choir of the CenterPhil Montessori International School led by Prof. Alex Magno.
Angeles led the Thanksgiving Toast during the Thanksgiving reception that followed where the culinary team led by Chef Billy Andaca and Chef Diego Trillana, had poured their passion into crafting the feast laid out before the guests.*
