Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency yesterday seized 65 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P442,000 from a suspected drug peddler in Brgy. Miranda, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental.
Nabbed by PDEA in a joint operation of the Negros Occidental Police Office Drug Enforcement Unit and Hinigaran police, was Dioscoro Gatoteo Jr., alias Intsik, 53.
The buy bust operation also yielded P1,000 in marked money and P18 in cash, among other items.
This comes after the police also seized 3.2 kilos of suspected shabu, with a market value of P20.5 million, on Tuesday in Bacolod City,
Eight other drug suspects were also arrested yesterday by the police in separate buy bust operations in Iloilo City, yielding 140 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P952,000, according to a report of the Police Regional Office.*
