Paddle City, a premier pickleball destination, officially opened its doors yesterday along Magsaysay Avenue in Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City.
The complex launched with seven international-standard and tournament-ready courts.
Designed as a multi-use lifestyle hub, the facility also features co-working spaces, a food court, and an indoor carwash.
Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, Third District Representative Javier Miguel Benitez, Bacolod Councilor Jason Villarosa, and Paddle City executives Jason Tupas, Michael Veniegas, Charles Go, Dexter Telis and Jet Gabriel Pili led the opening, along with GMA artist couple EA Guzman and Shaira Diaz.
“We saw a barren warehouse, unused for many years, a forgotten structure that has been sitting for a long time. While the others saw abandonment, we saw possibilities, where others saw as a warehouse, we saw future community, where others saw as emptiness, where saw life waiting to happen. This is how we started,” Tupas said.
It aims for the venue to become the largest pickleball playground in the Visayas, capable of hosting national-level competitions.*
