Supporters of presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo in Bacolod and Negros Occidental are joining the nationwide launching of the official start of the election campaign on February 8.
Robredo and her vice-presidential candidate, Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, as well as their senatorial aspirants are holding their proclamation rally today in Camarines Sur.
Pink warriors are expected to join the “Pink Fiesta” at the Negros 4 Leni headquarters in Hernaez-Gatuslao Sts. in Bacolod City from 8am to 12 noon, its organizers said.
The activity is spearheaded by the Robredo People’s Council which is participated by all Kakampink groups in the province.
Laban Leni Negros Occidental (LLNO) will start the day with a mob dance of supporters clad in their pink outfits.
LLNO spokesperson Atty. Pinky Ocampo disclosed that there will be several events happening all over the province, some similar to the mob dance like in La Carlota City, while a motorcade is also being organized in the north, led by sugar planters.
Ocampo also said that they are encouraging all Leni supporters to join the nationwide noise barrage at exactly 12 noon.*
