PNP Covid cases down

Covid-19 infections among police personnel of Negros Occidental and the highly-urbanized Bacolod City have significantly dropped, as of yesterday, compared to a week before, the PNP Health Service said.

The active cases among personnel of the Bacolod City Police Office dropped to 34 as of May 16 from 91 on May 9, and from 37 to 20 for the NOCPPO, the report added.

NOCPPO registered one additional active case yesterday.

Cases of recovery also increased, from zero to 20, among all PNP units in the region for the same period.

All over Western Visayas, the number of active cases among PNP personnel also decreased, from 169 on May 9, compared to 107 a week after.

Of the 591 confirmed cases, 482 already recovered, with 107 active infections, and two deaths, the PNP report also said.*
