The Police Regional Office (PRO) 6 maintains its record of having no new COVID-19 infections among its personnel in Western Visayas for almost a month now.
Records of the PNP Health Service in Western Visayas show that not a single police personnel has been infected by the virus from March 16 to April 10 this year.
PRO6 registered 1,748 confirmed cases, with 1,741 recoveries and seven deaths as of yesterday.
The Iloilo Police Provincial Office has the greatest number of infections among its personnel with 316, followed by Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office – 262, Regional Headquarters -199, Bacolod City Police Office -176, Aklan PPO -173, Antique PPO – 146, Iloilo City Police Office -126, National Support Units -119, Capiz PPO -105, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6-72 and Guimaras PPO -54.
Of the seven COVID-19 fatalities, two were assigned each at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and Iloilo City Police Office, and one each at the Iloilo Police Provincial Office, Regional Headquarters and National Support Units.*
