Three men were found dead in separate areas in Negros Occidental Monday, with two of the incidents reported by the police as suicide cases.
An unidentified person was found dead along the road in Sitio Tuburan, Brgy. Pandanon, Salvador Benedicto, police said.
The unidentified victim, estimated to be between 30 to 37 years old, had “Father’s love” and “Edilyn” tattooed on his right arm, the police said.
The police also said he was wearing a red T-shirt and gray jogging pants.
Police probers raised the possibility that the victim may have died of strangulation, due to ligature marks on his neck.
The police also reported two suicide incidents in Binalbagan and Manapla, Negros Occidental, also on Aug. 16.
The lifeless body of the 20-year-old victim, whose identity was withheld, was discovered by his father hanging, with a nylon cord tied around his neck, in a room at their residence in Sitio Pucatod, Brgy. Payao, Binalbagan, police investigations showed.
The day before, the victim had been cautioned by his mother against his addiction to computer games.
The victim was declared dead on arrival at the Binalbagan Rural Health Clinic, the town police reported.
In Manapla, the body of a 29-year-old person, whose identity was also withheld, was found hanging in his house at Hacienda Lourdes in Brgy. Punta Mesa.
