A family in Barangay Talaban, Himamaylan City, is offering a P5,000 reward for information that will lead to the person responsible for the brutal stabbing of their pregnant pet goat.
Candice, nearly two years old, was found with four stab wounds on her face, one of which deeply penetrated her mouth and wounded her tongue, making it a struggle for her to eat.
The attack has left the goat’s owner devastated and pleading for the public’s help.
“If you saw or heard anything, please speak up. Help us hold the person accountable. Candice didn’t deserve this. No animal ever does,” BACH Project PH said in a social media post.
Candice is currently recovering from her injuries, but the deep wound to her tongue has made simple acts like eating a painful ordeal.
Local authorities are investigating the case, and the community is rallying behind the family, expressing shock and outrage over the cruel act.*
