PUJ catches fire

Personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection responding to a vehicular fire involving a public utility vehicle along Gonzaga Street in Brgy. 21, Bacolod City yesterday*

A public utility jeepney plying the Bata-Libertad route caught fire along Gonzaga Street, Brgy. 21, Bacolod City at about 1:34 p.m. yesterday.

Personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection in Bacolod City estimated the damage caused by the fire on the PUJ owned by Ruben Cabrera Melano at P1,000.

Meanwhile, a house in Purok Himaya, Brgy. Mansilingan was damaged by fire at about 2:11 p.m. Saturday.

The damage caused by the fire that started at the living room of the house owned by Cris and Jenny Cordero was estimated by the BFP to have cost P2,000.*
