Marking a significant milestone in strengthening police infrastructure and enhancing the law enforcement, the Police Regional Office Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) inaugurated the newly completed Pulupandan Municipal Police Station through a blessing ceremony on Monday.
PRO-NIR Spokesperson PLt. Col. Joem Malong said that the inauguration and blessing highlighted the commitment of both regional police and the Local Government of Pulupandan to provide a modern, functional, and accessible police facility that will enhance operational readiness.
She added that the new police station is envisioned to serve as a symbol of public trust, accountability, and effective law enforcement.
Meanwhile, PRO-NIR Director PBrig. Gen. Arnold Thomas Ibay extended his congratulations to the administration and personnel of the police station for a “significant milestone.”
He emphasized that the new facility stands as a clear testament to the Philippine National Police’s enduring commitment to public service and its shared responsibility in ensuring peace, order, and community safety.
Ibay also expressed his gratitude during the ceremony to the local government for its “generosity and unwavering support, noting that the realization of the project reflects the strong and productive partnership between the local government and the PNP.”
Present during the inauguration were Pulupandan Mayor Miguel Antonio Peña, Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office (NOCPPO) Director PCol. Dennis Wenceslao, and officers and personnel of the Pulupandan MPS.*
