A fire partially damaged a two-story residential and commercial building at Purok Kalipayan, Cuadra Street, Barangay 21, Bacolod City, yesterday morning.
Reports said the blaze originated on the second floor of the structure, which serves as the residence of Joyce Tolentino, while the ground floor is utilized as an eatery.
The Bacolod City Fire Station received the report at 11:40 a.m. and declared the fire out by 11:46 a.m.
The Bureau of Fire Protection – Bacolod reported the damage to be worth around P3,750.
While the primary structure sustained damage, an adjacent building housing an auto parts business was also reported as partially damaged.
No casualties or injuries were reported among the four residents, or the responding teams.
The BFP is currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.*
