The Rebolusyonaryong Alyansang Makabansa joined forces with the United Guardians Brotherhoood, Inc. and endorsed the candidacies Grupo Progreso aspirants led by re-electionists Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia and Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, and congressional bet Dan Atayde.
The RAM endorsement was held at the Convention Hall of Acacia Hotel in a ceremony attended by close to 1,000 barangay chapter members of the UGBI on Sunday.
National chairman Col. Nestor Flordeliza, who is also the RAM Party-list nominee, led the endorsement rites.
Flordeliza said it was an honor to endorse Leonardia, Familiaran and Atayde knowing that together with other GP members, they are most capable to lead the local government.
“We are grateful and privileged to have been endorsed by the RAM family. Kung upod ka sa RAM daw nakasandig ka sa pader,” Leonardia said.*
