An alleged member of the Regional Strike Force of the Komiteng Rehiyonal Negros/Cebu/Bohol/Siquijor, was captured by police and military personnel during a joint manhunt operation in Brgy. San Agustin, Isabela, Negros Occidental, on November 27.
Nabbed was Robert Ancino, 21, of Sitio Mahopaho, Brgy. San Agustin, Isabela.
The arrest warrant issued against Ancino was issued by Himamaylan Regional Trial Court Judge Walter Sorilla, for the crime of murder.
Ancino was also linked to the ambush and injuries of two policemen in Binalbagan on February 13 this year, according to the police.
On the other hand, a 58-year-old widow identified by the police as Rizaldy Sarraga was also apprehended in Brgy. Tinampaan, Cadiz City, for illegal possession of firearms, also on Nov. 27.
The implementation of a search warrant issued by Cadiz RTC Judge Joanne Francis Nifras led to the arrest of Sarraga and the recovery of a caliber .38 revolver with three live ammunition, police said.*
