Red Cross Youth Negros Occidental – Bacolod City volunteers resuscitated a man who was electrocuted while clearing trees at around 10:30 a.m. yesterday, along Lacson Street, Bacolod City.
The victim, identified as Rocky Billiones, a crane operator, was immediately brought to Bacolod Adventist Medical Center.
The team was en route to the southern areas of Pontevedra, Hinigaran, and Binalbagan to distribute bread to communities impacted by Typhoon Tino when the incident happened.
The volunteers stopped their vehicle and rushed to the aid of the unconscious man and immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation.*
