The week-long temporary suspension of trips from Negros Occidental to Dumangas Port and Iloilo City, and vice versa, will be lifted starting June 1, the joint advisory issued by the Regional Inter-Agency Task Force and Regional Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, showed.
The travel suspension, that took place on May 25, is slated to end today.
Starting 12:01 a.m. of June 1, the RTF- RIATF is informing all concerned that the temporary suspension of travel is lifted, unless otherwise extended by appropriate authorities, the advisory said.
Travelers have been advised to observe minimum public health standards and coordinate with their respective local government units for travel requirements before their departure.*
