The Sangguniang Panlungsod enacted Resolution No. 13, Series of 2025, which specifies temporary road closures for the BacoLaodiat Festival from January 26 to February 3, to ensure safe and smooth flow of activities during the celebration, according to a press release from festival organizers.
The North Capitol Road will be fully closed to vehicular traffic during the duration of the festival from January 28 to February 3, while Lacson Street, specifically the stretch from 5th to 13th Streets, will also be closed.
The road closures aim to provide a secure and enjoyable environment for festival-goers as the streets will be transformed into places of cultural performances, food fairs, and other festivities.
The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) will oversee the route management and deployment of police escorts to ensure public safety. The specific routes and traffic adjustments will be announced at the discretion of the BCPO.*
