A suspect involved in an incident of robbery-holdup on October 6 in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental, was arrested during a joint pursuit operation of the police and Army soldiers.
Nabbed was Richard Dalaguit, 38, of Brgy. Bacuyangan, Hinobaan.
Armed with hand guns, Dalaguit and his two unidentified companions robbed Rommel Grapa, a salesman of Philip Morris Fortune Tobacco Corporation and his companion, Camilo Matya-ong at gunpoint at Zone 1 in Brgy. Nabulao, Sipalay City.
The incident took place as the victims were inside a commercial establishment.
The apprehension of Dalaguit yielded P18,000 in cash, a .38 caliber revolver with three ammunition, a black Rusi motorcycle and a cellular phone.
However, the two companions of Dalaguit remained at large as of press time.*
