Robinson’s Place Bacolod held its Christmas tree lighting activity on November 14, which symbolizes hope, community, and giving back, through its partners – Bacolod City Police Station 3, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Barangay Mandalagan Day Care Center.
“Step into the Christmas Garden Bloom!”….this enchanting theme transforms the traditional tree into a radiant celebration of nature’s beauty – where frosted petals, glistening berries, and golden leaves intertwine with twinkling lights and festive charm.
Inspired by the serenity of a Filipino garden in full bloom, the display blends the elegance and Filipino culture and florals with the sparkle of the holiday season. It’s a joyful fusion of nature and Christmas wonder – a blooming masterpiece that celebrates life, light, and the spirit of the season, a press release said.
Joining the Christmas tree-lighting activity were Ryan Sumpay, mall operations manager of Robinson’s Place Bacolod, executive assistant to the mayor Princess Ella Olmilla; Bacolod Chief Tourism Officer Ma. Teresa Manalili; Robinsons regional operations manager Vanessa Angodung; Police Station 3 commander Police Capt. Rondyl Tapang; Bacolod Deputy Fire Marshal Fire/Insp. Jemarie Tapiru; FO2 Paul Servano; and Mandalagan Brgy. Capt. Paul Nieve.
Also present were representatives from the Office of the Vice President – Butch Soliguien, July Jereza, Eduardo Villacampa, and Rosemarie Alaro.
In celebration of the holiday, Robinson’s Place Bacolod together with Robinson’s Land, which marked its 45th year, handed over gifts to their partners – Police Station 3, BFP Bacolod, and the children of Barangay Mandalagan Day Care Center during the event, in the presence of Santa Claus.
Meanwhile, Robinson’s Place Bacolod is also set to launch its Suga sang Paskwa on Nov. 24, “Wish Upon a Star” program on Dec. 13, jobs fair, and its yearly meet and greet with Santa in December.*
