The Rotary Club of Bacolod and Robinson’s Place Bacolod celebrated the annual “Wish Upon A Star” on December 14 at Robinsons Place Bacolod Main Atrium area.
The annual benefit activity is in partnership with the Rotary Club of Bacolod, Robinson’s Place Bacolod and other donor-partners where they bring 150 poor and indigent children from selected aeta and coastal communities from Isabela town in Negros Occidental, Barangays 1, 13 and 14 in Bacolod City, and Suntown Camp to Robinsons Place Bacolod and share the spirit of Christmas thru gift giving, entertainment and snacks/lunch.
The gift-giving was headed by officers and members of the Rotary Club of Bacolod led by President Marjorie Dino assisted by Bacolod City Vice Mayor and Past President El Cid Familiaran and this year’s Committee Chairman headed by Rotarian Tanya Familiaran and Rtns. Dexter Telis, Juliana Louise Llaguno. Also present are Incoming President Amelyn Bravo, Past President and Secretary Frederick Anthony de Leon, Past President Pauline Cuaycong, Past President Richard Paul Salem, Club Director Jet Garbiel Pili, Assistant Secretary Emily Therese Cuaycong, Assistant Treasurer Aileen Palma, Asst. Director Bea Gilbor, Charles Dino, Sam Solon, Michael Gaerlan, Kenbe Yeung, Errol Arroyo, Clyde de Guzman, Hana Isabella Hautea, Jeannie Buan, Jonathan Flores, the Boys and Girls Week officials led by Girl Mayor Libby Tangco and City Councilors, Robinson Place Bacolod represented by Mary Jo San Marte, Mall Operations Manager and Krista Anne Lapore, Marketing Manager, and Charina Puentebella. The master of ceremony was Gay Marie Tiu.
