The Rotary Club of Metro Bacolod (RCMB) turned over an isolation tent to Dr. Frank Tumaning and Anton Monfort, head for Operation and Chief Administration Officer, respectively, of Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital last November 4.
The project was in keeping with the continuous effort of the club to contribute its share in fighting the COVID 19 pandemic in the province.
This is also RCMB’s way to commemorate Cinco de Noviembre or the Negros Independence Day.
Witnessing the ceremony were PDG Joe Jay Doctora, PP Angelito Dumapi, PP Renato Monfort, PP Joel Jaranilla, PP Haig Conmingo, Rtn. Chinky Dulaca, Rtn Rich Ann Zayco, RCMB Scholar Charlene Gonzaludo and friend of Rotary Genelyn Gonzaga.
The RCMB also conducted a mobile vaccination drive and distribution of medicines and vitamins in Villa Angela Subdivision last October 31, 2021.
The undertaking was carried out in collaboration with the Department of Health headed by Dr. Wendy Yap, the Villa Angela Homeowner’s Association, Beraca Drug Co., Outdoor Master, HEI Gruppo Pharmaceutica Inc., and Apotheca Medsure Inc.
Sixty-three takers were vaccinated during the aforesaid event which was also part of RCMB’s contribution during the End Polio Month that timed with the Halloween weekend.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the club’s partners during the occasion.*
