The City of Sagay will be hosting the 2023 PONY Baseball and Softball International Asia Pacific Zone Board Meeting on December 2 to 3, according to a press release from the organizers.
PONY or Protect our Nation’s Youth is a non-profit organization that has been organizing youth basketball and softball leagues and tournaments since 1951.
The topics to be discussed during the PONY Board Meeting at the Balay Kauswagan in Sagay City include plans for tournaments and events for next year where teams from the Philippines, particularly Bacolod and Negros Occidental, are actively involved. The PONY Girls Softball World Series Champions and Little League Girls Softball World Series Champions are also scheduled to be given recognition.
Third District Congressman Alfredo ‘Thirdy’ Marañon will be welcoming the delegates who will be attending the 2023 PONY Baseball & Softball International Asia Pacific Zone Board Meeting, especially those coming from other countries around the world including member countries of PONY such as Japan, China, Chinese Taipei, Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, Guam, India, Nepal, Vladivostok Russia, Mongolia, and the Philippines.
