A salesman and two of his companions were robbed at gunpoint on September 28 in Sitio Buta, Brgy, Caliling, Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
Initial investigations of the Cauayan police showed that Arque Cuison, a sales representative of Japan Tobacco International Philippines, and his two companions, Christian Rusiana and Jonathan Adolacion, were transacting business with a sari-sari store owned by Mary Jane Buscado, when two of the three suspects disembarked from a motorcycle.
The suspects, who were armed with guns, then took P15,000 in cash from the victims and fled towards a southerly direction, according to the police.*
