Three unidentified suspects robbed a salesman and his companion of their cash collections at gunpoint, on July 12 Sitio Bagroy in Brgy. Delicioso, Ilog, Negros Occidental.
Virgilio Gelera Jr., a salesman of JT Philippines International, of Bayawan City, Negros Oriental, and his driver-companion, Marvie Magbanua, reported to the Ilog Police Station that the suspects took their P120,633 cash collections, and fled on board a black motorcycle.
Initial police investigations show that Gelera and Magbanua were collecting payables at a Bagroy Square Store, when the three suspects, one of them armed with gun, appeared from behind, and declared a hold up.
The other suspect, wearing a helmet, proceeded to the front seat of delivery vehicle and took the P120,633 in cash before fleeing, according to the Ilog police.
One of the three suspects was later identified by the Ilog police as Nilo Topez Jr, alias Lolong, 24, of Purok 5B, Brgy. Guihulngan, Cauayan, Negros Occidental, after his photo was shown to the complainants.*
