Salvage victim found at BREDCO

• GILBERT P. BAYORAN

The remains of a man believed to be a “salvage” victim, dumped at the BREDCO Port in Brgy. 2, Bacolod City, was discovered yesterday.

The victim, who was wearing ‘Dri Fit’ long sleeves and black short pants, has not yet been identified by the police as of last night.

Initial police investigations indicate that the victim was hogtied.

On the other hand, a missing person identified by the police as Bryan Cabrera was found dead on September 11 at Purok 7 in Brgy. Linao, Kabankalan City.

Initial police investigations said that Cabrera, 29, was reported missing on Sept. 9, after he failed to return to their residence in Brgy. Salong, Kabankalan City.

His cadaver, which was already in advanced state of decomposition, was found in a canal, underneath a motorcycle.

Police investigations say that the victim may have been drowned after his driven motorcycle crashed into the irrigation canal.*
