The cadaver of a man believed to be a salvage victim was found yesterday along the national highway of Brgy. Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
Initial police investigations of the Himamaylan City police indicated that the victim was hogtied, with his head covered with a bonnet and wrapped with a packing tape.
The victim, who succumbed to gunshot wounds in the head, was believed to have been dumped and shot at the scene of incident, according to the police.
Recovered from the scene of incident were two fired bullets of a .45 caliber pistol, as well as two fired cartridges of 5.56 mm firearm and .45 caliber pistol.
The victim was reported by the police to have been wearing a blue T-shirt and maong long pants, about 5 feet and 6 inches tall, with a dark complexion.
A card board with a written message “Kay Macoy, nasa iyo pala si Bebot Murillo at si Boy Tapang… See you next time… By JJ” was also recovered beside the head of the victim. *
