The Bugsay San Carlos Dragon Boat Racing Team will participate in the Bohol Dragon Boat Festival on July 22-23 in Dauis Miramir, Bohol.
Harvey Mata, coach of Bugsay San Carlos Dragon Boat Racing Team, informed Mayor Renato Gustilo of the said event during their courtesy visit on July 17 at the City Mayor’s Office.
Mata said only 25 of the 60 members will enter the three categories of the competition: mixed, women, and master.
Gustilo and Vice Mayor Christopher Paul Carmona assured the team that the local government is ready to support its participation in the contest.
Negros Occidental 1st District Rep. Gerardo Valmayor Jr. was also present during the courtesy visit.*
