The San Carlos City government held its 3rd Mayor Rene Gustilo’s Post Charter Day Top Shooter Competition at Brgy. Palampas Firing Range on August 6.
The competition was played in 6 stages with a minimum of 130 rounds for division’s classic, standard, production and Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC).
Mayor Renato Gustilo, Vice Mayor Christopher Paul Carmona, and Councilors Benito Gustilo Jr. and Mark Cui were present at the activity.
Winners in the Classic category were Justine De Leon – champion; Bebot Empleo – 1st runner-up; and Edlyn Casal – 2nd runner-up;
Classic Lawman: PMAJ Edfel Balibadlan – champion, Randy Ramos – 1st runner-up; Classic Lady: Rhea Miyuki Li – champion; Classic Senior: Jemuel Mahinay – champion;
Standard: Al Roma – champion, Rhomar Villarosa – 1st runner-up, Bingkoy Mariano – 2nd runner-up; Standard Lawman: Emerson Luague – champion; Standard Lady: Ruhamah Ravello – champion;
Standard Senior: Rene Gustilo – champion; Standard Super Senior: JC Solidarios – champion; Standard LGU: Ramil Ravello – champion;
Production: Miguel Alisaje – champion, Schwinn Denver Yusingco – 1st runner-up and John Derek Golez – 2nd runner-up; Production Lawman: Joemarie Delima – champion, PCpl Romelito Delima – 1st runner-up, PLtCol Jesus Mesahon Jr. – 2nd runner-up;
Production Lady: Sharon Juance – champion; Production Senior: Adonis Rosales – champion, Junan Guinanao – 1st runner-up; Production PCC: Renbert Gustilo – champion and Michael Francis Arada – 1st runner up.
In the Carry Optics, Team Budok was declared champion, with Team Toking as 1st runner-up and Team Vamos and Team Sulong as 2nd and 3rd runners-up, respectively.
Participating teams were from the cities of San Carlos, Bacolod, Bayawan, Dumaguete, Canlaon, Sagay and the municipalities of La Castellana, Toboso and Valladolid.*
