None other than Presidential daughter Sara Duterte-Carpio of Davao City spotted her photo with Mayor Evelio Leonardia at the Mayor’s Office when she visited him Monday at the Bacolod City Government Center.
Leonardia said the photo was taken about four years ago when the vice-presidential race front-runner witnessed the city’s MassKara festivities.
“Pa picture tayo, Mayor Bing,” Duterte-Carpio told the mayor as she held the picture frame with her and Leonardia on it.
The President’s daughter, who was given a festive welcome, also took time to have a photo opportunity individually with barangay captains present during her close to two-hour stay at the BCGC.
She also wished Leonardia, whom she considered a very dear friend, and the people of Bacolod, a happy Christmas and a healthy New Year.
The Davao City mayor also gave relief assistance to Negrenses affected by the recent typhoon Odette.*
