An owner of a security agency was shot and killed Wednesday night by a motorcycle riding gunman at Henrietta Village in Brgy. Singcang Airport, Bacolod City.
The victim identified by the police was Ivan Magbanua, 39, owner of the MBS Security Agency, and was travelling in a westerly direction on board his Mitsubishi Mirage vehicle when he was shot several times by the gunman, who was also riding in tandem on a motorcycle, driven by his companion.
The vehicle of Magbanua collided with a Toyota Vios vehicle as result of the shooting incident, PMaj. Joery Puerto, Police Station 8 commander said.
The victim, according to Puerto, died on the spot.
Police probers recovered eight empty shells of a caliber .45 pistol at the scene of incident.
Meanwhile, a certain Sheina Agi was also injured after being shot by an unidentified gunman on Wednesday night at Purok Sigay in Brgy. 2, Bacolod City.
The victim is now being treated for his injuries at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City, while the shooting incident is being investigated by the Police Station 2.*
