Seminary hosts Padre Pio art exhibit

Padre Pio as portrayed by different exhibiting visual artists in the Exhibit 2020 “Padre Pio: Mirror of Divine Life” at the Sacred Heart Seminary in Bacolod City*

Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, home of the grotto of St. Padre Pio, led by parish priest Rev. Fr. Angelo Ansula and devotees, is hosting a group art exhibit titled Exhibit 2022 Padre Pio: “Mirror of Divine Life,” featuring the life and ministry of Padre Pio, with relics exposed for veneration during the 10-day exhibit at The Sacred Heart Seminary in Bacolod City.

The show that runs from May 14 to 24 is joined by La Consolacion College Fine Arts students, BFA Public Art Class of Buglas Carreon and professors Antonio Tejado, Roy Aguilar, and Mary Ann Manganti.

Art class students Agie Marie Pablito, Mocks Morales, Rochelle Anne Almonte, Rhenz Louie Gayanelo, John Kein Mijares, Jester Anierde, Khyt Dohinog, Janine Ledesma together with Art Association of Bacolod members Sony Golez, Rez Galvez, Fred Orig, Dennis Valenciano and Feminine artists Dolly Gatuslao and Sandy Solinap are among the exhibiting artists.

The group exhibit was formally opened and blessed by Most Rev. Patricio Buzon, Bishop of Bacolod on Saturday.*
