Another severed human body part was found on Monday, at a subdivision in Bago City, Negros Occidental.
The discovery of a severed right hand came in the wake of the dumping of frozen human body parts on March 1 in front of the National Bureau of Investigation office in Bacolod City.
Initial police investigations showed that the severed right hand was discovered by a dump truck driver, who was unloading a mini roller at the Phase 3 of South Bay Subdivision in Brgy. Sampinit, Bago City.
According to the police, two dump trucks from Brgy. Alangilan, Bacolod City, were delivering filling materials of volcanic soil at the subdivision construction site, on June 1.
It was initially discovered by a heavy equipment operator, who ignored it, thinking that it was just a glove.
The severed human body part was brought to a funeral parlor in Bago City, for proper disposition.
Over the past two years, dismembered human body parts have been dumped and discovered in several areas of Bacolod City.*
