A suspected drug peddler was arrested during a buy-bust operation Tuesday in Brgy. 1 Poblacion, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Nabbed by the police was Rogelio Mag-aso Jr., 34, and a tricycle driver, and resident of the barangay.
The apprehension of Mag-aso yielded a gram of suspected shabu, with a street market value of P6,800, and its paraphernalia, a 45 caliber pistol with a magazine containing four live ammunition, a gun holster and P500 in marked money.
Mag-aso is now in jail, pending the filing of charges against him for illegal possession of firearms and violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.*
