A week after implementing big-time price rollbacks, oil firms announced more than P1 per liter increase on pump prices starting Tuesday morning.
In separate advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Shell said they will increase gasoline prices by P1.35 per liter and P1.30 per liter on diesel.
Kerosene prices at Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell stations will also go up by P1.10 per liter.
Other oil firms are expected to follow suit.
Last week, oil firms slashed prices of gasoline by P3.60 per liter, P2.90 per liter for diesel, and P3.30 per liter for kerosene.
The price rollback last week reduced the total year-to-date net increase in gasoline prices to 95 centavos per liter and P1.55 per liter for diesel, while kerosene had a net price decrease of P2.90 per liter.*PNA
