The ultimate clash of young basketball talents is set at Hino Cup Season 3 – “Battle of the Academe,” a school-based tournament that will start today at the Msgr. John Liu Activity Center, St. John’s Institute main campus in Bacolod City.
The third edition of the Hino Cup features four categories: 10 and under, 12 and under, 15 and under, 17 and under. The participating schools are St. John’s Institute, University of St. La Salle, University of Negros Occidental, Bacolod Tay Tung High School, Trinity Christian School, St. Joseph School – La Salle, Colegio De Sta. Ana De Victorias, Bubog Elementary School, Silay South Elementary School, Sagay National High School, and Caduhaan National High School.
Games will be played daily from May 25 to June 4 at the SJI main campus and then will shift venues to the Luis T. Ong Sports Pavilion in Talisay City for the playoffs, from June 5 to 9.
