St. John’s Institute defeated De La Salle – Zobel 25-22, 25-22 in the finals of the 18-under category of the 25th Minulu-an Festival 2024 Volleyball Invitational League on September 7, at Talisay City.
According to a press release, the SJI players are Antonella Jayobo, Marthena Eunice Echarri, Andrea Nicole Gison, Leeyan Amber Lobaton, Beatrice Lindzay Marie Tamayo, Marteena Lauren Ferrer, Ember Genine Go, Therese Anne Tad-y, Samantha Caitlin Young, Ma. Samantha Zapata, Caera Celis, Eileen Susan Gabrielle Yanson, and Maria Rhianna Yee.
The team was coached by Ralph Savellano and Patrick John Dama, and had James Anthony Uy as PT Trainer.
Special awards went to Antonella Jayobo for 1st Best Outside Hitter; Eileen Susan Gabrielle Yanson – 1st Best Middle Blocker; Marthena Eunice Echarri – 2nd Best Middle Blocker; and Caera Celis was chosen as the Most Valuable Player.*
